Review:

The Gruffalo’s Child by Julia Donaldson takes place a short time after the events of the previous book. The Gruffalo now has a very curious daughter and the tale of the Big Bad Mouse is told to her.

Intrigued, one dark night whilst bored the Gruffalo’s Child leaves the safety of their cave to investigate for herself and what an adventure she has…

We loved this book, again, the author uses rhyme and repetition to keep young readers engaged. The illustrations are gorgeous and seeing the same characters causes delight among readers of the previous book.
